Salty Dog
240 ml grapefruit juice
45 ml gin
1/4 tsp salt
Pour all ingredients over ice in a highball. Stir well and serve. (Vodka may be substituted for gin, if preferred.)
Seabreeze
45 ml vodka
120ml cranberry juice
30 ml grapefruit juice
Pour vodka over ice into a highball. Add mixers. May be garnished with a wedge of lime.
Sex on the Beach
45 ml vodka
15 ml peach schnapps
30 ml cranberry juice
30 ml orange juice
Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball over ice. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and orange juice, and stir.
Singapore Sling
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
sweet and sour mix
club soda
1/2 oz cherry brandy
Pour grenadine into the bottom of a highball, and fill with ice. Add gin, and almost-fill with equal parts of sweet and sour and chilled soda. Top with cherry brandy, and serve unstirred, garnished with a cherry.
Sangria
1 bottle red wine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup lemon juice
cloves
cinnamon sticks
Mix all together and put in the refrigerator till cold. Add cloves and cinnamon sticks to taste.
